We are inviting you to join us in what we hope will be more than a forum, it will be a means of support for each other. We all have our hard times and as we all know it is better to share them with someone who understands. The forum reaches out to not just those of you going through a deployment but also with the turmoil of moving, balancing military and civ life, the constant late nights and early morning, and just daily life. My name is Kaitie I was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska where I met my husband Austin. He is a SSgt in the Air Force as a Combat Journalist. In 2006 Austin was named best photographer in the Air Force. Also in June 2006 we got married. We are stationed at Laughlin AFB for 2.5 years now. we have a few pets Luke who is a sheppard mix we got in October of 2005 and is a TOTALLY Mommy's boy! Leia our Beagle and Rhodesian Ridge back mix we got her in December of 2005 on new years eve, she is such a Daddy's girl. Lastly our Cat Goldie who we got in May of 2007! Thats our little family and we are very happy! \

I am Sarah! I am married to Mike who is AD Army. He was in the Marine Corps for 6 years before switching to the Army. We are currently stationed at Fort Sill, OK. We are currently TTC our 1st! I have 2 beautiful stepchildren. One is 3 and the other is 2! We have 2 furbabies! You will see a ton of pictures of them! I am from WV and my husband is from Cali.

Hello, my name is Bill and I am your Military Moderator here on The Silent Ranks Forums. I am a Master Sergeant in the Air Force Reserves and stationed at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida where I am assigned to the Security Forces Squadron. I live and work in the metro-Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. In my full time civilian job I am a Police Sergeant. My girlfriend's name is Racheal and she is in the Air Force Reserve as well, also in Security Forces and currently deployed to Iraq. Deployments over my career have found me all over the world and to "The Sandbox" 4 times now, but this is the first time that I am the one waiting at home. I am the proud full time father of a beautiful 9 year old girl as well as 3 cats and 2 dogs.

I’m Heather!! I am 24, and will be 25 in August! I married my wonderful husband Bobby, who I refer to as B, on June 27, 2007. I am currently working at a law firm in Minneapolis, while he is deployed. I’m living at home with my parents, saving up and getting ready for the relocation when he gets back!! I LOVE to travel, take random road trips and just enjoy the little things about life. My favorite sport is hockey, my favorite food is steak (HAS to be medium rare!!), I would state a favorite movie, but I have tooooo many to choose from. I have an obsession with Dr. Pepper, and I could eat candy all day. I love to change my hair color and I love big sunglasses which B will forever make fun of me for.
B is currently deployed to Iraq and has been since the end of September 2007. He is based out of Ft. Campbell, KY, and will be at least until 2009. Or so we think!!! We are currently debating reenlistment but everyday brings something new! He has a gorgeous 2 (will be 3 in October) year old daughter named Alexa. She is currently living in GA with her mom. We have no kids of our own yet, but someday, it will happen! When he’s home, he loves to golf, play Xbox, and spend time with me!!
